Leather Quality
-
We use the best
Indian leather (water buffalo harness),
which is drum dyed.
Tanning,
processing, including dyeing, is done inside drums to give the
leather a uniform texture.
It also binds the fibers more closely making them
stand up to give the leather more luster and body.
-
Bridles & tack accessories are made from
natural vegetable harness leather
tanned traditionally.
-
All cutting and tooling is done by hand. Edges are rounded off to give
each item a smooth finish and they are smoothened with binders.
The edges are then lacquered to give them extra shine and an
extra smooth feel.
-
KOBAN thread, an industry standard in over 20 countries, is used for
stitching all tack and accessories.
All major stitching is done by hand
except in some places such as the outside of the saddle where
customers prefer uniform stitching.
-
Stainless steel or solid brass hardware is used for all bridle work and tack
accessories.
-
The padding used is made from top grain soft leather under which soft
rubber is inserted for extra comfort.
Saddle Quality
-
Best quality leather
is used.
-
English saddles are made
on wooden trees reinforced with heavy iron/steel
plates for strength.
-
Western saddles are made

-
The stirrup bars are made of steel.
-
The saddle seat is made using rubber and cushion for comfortable
riding and is covered with top grain softy leather.
Front knee pads
use the same leather covering with special neoprene for extra comfort for the
knee.
Knee rolls on the inside panel give support while riding.
Top grain leather soft panels under the saddles are filled with wool
to help cushion the horse.
-
Strong girth straps, three on each side, are stitched by strong waxed
thread for strength.
-
